5 Months and Counting...

Since Neville is going to be 6 months on Saturday, I decided I better post these pics. Our scanner is very old so they didn't turn out as well as they could have. but they're still fun to look at. I just can't belive how fast it has gone by, it feels like all my babies were just born...

Glasses

This year both Ian and Audra failed their eye exams at the pediatrician's office. Their doctor recommended that we get them tested with an eye doctor. Unfortunately they both failed there too. Ian's vision is borderline and he is still able to go without glasses for now but has to be checked out again in a year. One of Audra's eyes is severely worse than the other so she is stuck with glasses to help prevent lazy eye :( She has been a little shy about wearing them around people at first, but everyone has been really great about making her feel beautiful in them!

We had a lot of fun at the reunion in Pagosa Springs, CO. We went hiking, to some hot springs and a Renaissance Fair. Here are some pictures of the fun...

4th of July 2010

It has been forever since I last blogged! I am just going to skip June (the kids birthdays...) and go right on in to July. The 4th of July started out great until after the parade I got sick with the stomach flu and started puking in the Old Navy parking lot, all I have to say is classy... For those of you who know me, know I do not throw up. Brandon and I have known each other for 13 years and he has only seen me puke once. I was so sick I couldn't move, I couldn't hold down water or popsicles. Then of course Audra and Ian got it. Luckily Brandon and Neville were spared, but our 4th of July weekend was ruined. The parade was the extent of our activities this year!

5 Weeks old!

We have had a busy 5 weeks! I can't believe Neville is that old already (will be 6 weeks tomorrow)! The first 2 weeks were great, except that Ian got croup and an ear infection and almost ended up at Primary Children's because his oxygen was too low. By the time I took Neville in for his 2 weeks check-up, he had developed a cough but was otherwise happy. I was going to have the doctor check it out, and the nurse heard Neville cough and decided to check his oxygen level while we waited for the doctor to come in. Unfortunately his oxygen level was too low and so his Dr called an ambulance to take us up to Primary Children's. We ended up spending 4 days there due to RSV and we were finally able to bring Neville home on oxygen (he was on it for 3 days after). He just got back to being my "mellow, happy baby" and started showing signs of an allergic reaction to dairy. So we had to put him on a soy formula, which has helped, but he still has his fussy moments. He is gorgeous, and we just love having him in our family!

This was taken before we went to the his RSV check-up and he was still on oxygen.
