Our Guitar Hero

On Thanksgiving my brother Nicholas brought "Guitar Hero" to play. Ian had a blast playing the Guitar, and he was fascinated watching Nicholas and I play.

Halloween 2007

Luckily I was able to grab a quick shot of the kids together at our ward's trunk or treat.
I was actually able to grab a picture of both of the kids smiling at the exact same time (thanks to their Daddy making goofy faces behind my back).

Mommy's little Lady...bug!

Audra makes the cutest little ladybug. This costume was perfect for her!

Audra loved all of the suckers, when people let her choose her candy that is all she would pick.

Ian the Fireman

Here is Ian and Brandon at our ward's Trunk or Treat! He had a lot of fun.

We also went trick or treating at my work. Ian had a blast and kept telling everyone he was "Ian the Fireman."

Pumpkin Carving

Ian really did not like how the inside of the pumpkin felt, but we were able to catch a picture of him having fun.

Audra was not quite sure what to make of all the chaos, and when she tried to climb off the table she touched the pumpkin guts and it grossed her out, she called it "kucky".

"eese!"

Audra is starting to say words or phrases here and there. I was taking a picture of Ian and he was saying "cheese", I pointed the camera in Audra's direction just in time for her to say "eese!" She truely says some of the funniest things. One of her favorite things to say is "Leave me alone." Some of her more recent words are; "doggie", "Padfoot" (our dog), "bubble", "pumpkin", and "here you go".

"I'm Your Favorite Deputy!"

When I came home from work Ian came running up to me and said, "Mom, I'm your favorite deputy!" He loves the movie Toy Story so his Grandpa helped him dress up like a "real" cowboy.

Audra

Ian loves his little sister and is very protective of her. The other day she got mad and bit him. When I tried to put her in time out, he told me not to put her in time out and she would be good.
Audra loves her baby! She will hold her, pat her back and give her lots of kisses.

Sleeping Beauty and Prince Charming

Audra was in the middle of playing and all of sudden everything was quiet. Brandon looked over to see why and Audra had crashed. Ian was so cute he was saying her name trying to wake her up and then finally he gave her a kiss which woke her up.

"Nuggling"

Ian always like to "nuggle" (snuggle without the s). My Mom and I were scrapbooking late one night when we looked over and Ian was nuggling with Audra.

"Lollypop,Lollypop..."

I had a sucker and Audra wanted a taste. The next thing I knew she had taken it over. She was too cute I couldn't resist taking a picture of it.

Walking!!!

Finally at 14 months Audra started walking. She would take steps here and there when she didn't realize she was, but she was too chicken to walk on her own for the longest time.

7-24-07

We had a fun filled 24th. We went to Auntie Heather's and had a BBQ and watched fireworks.

Our 1 Year Old Girl!

Our baby girl turned one on June 20th! We can't believe how big she is! She had a lot of fun eating her birthday cake, and she even dipped in before we were able to sing Happy Birthday. Audra wasn't so sure about opening her presents, so Grandpa had to help her and show her how it was done. She loved all of the toys, and so did her brother!

For Ian's birthday we went to the Zoo. We had a lot of fun, and he loved the baby alligators. We also had fun getting an upclose look at the leopard, who kept pacing back and forth in front of the glass with his fangs exposed! Then we came back home for cake and ice cream, Ian wanted a "Curious George birthday". He had a lot of fun with Anya as they played with their balloons, hats, blowers, and glasses. Ian received many wonderful presents, and was truly "spoiled"!

Our Snow White...

I was doing dishes and I looked down, and Audra had an apple in her mouth. Ian decided to "share" his apple with her, and she loved it. Even though she only had two teeth at the time she was still able to take some good size bites from it.

We were working in the yard, and I look over and Audra is eating dirt! She thought it was quite tasty!

Playing together

Ian and Audra love to play with Audra's tent that she got for Christmas. If Audra is in there playing, Ian will ring her doorbell and ask to come in. They have a lot of fun!

A day at the Zoo...

A couple of weeks ago we took Ian and Audra to the Zoo. Ian had a ton of fun looking at all of the animals. He said his favorites were the monkeys and the elephants. He also like the "big kitty" (the snow leopard), which was laying down right against the glass.

Mommy was eating a fudgesicle and Audra decided she needed one too! Whenever we took it out of her mouth she would growl at us.

I love sister, she loves me...

Ian loves to get his picture taken with Audra. Anytime we pull out the camera he insists on holding his sister and posing for pictures. He gets very mad when we take her away from him, and he has learned how to push her buttons! When Audra is sick of Ian's antics she will start to cry (alligator tears) if he gets in a 1 foot radius of her!

New Year's Day and Sick!

You wouldn't know it from Ian's smile, but both Ian and Audra spent the beginning of the New Year sick with colds. Here they are having a pajamma day.
