I have been a horrible blogger, but for those of you who didn't know, my due date was February 28th. I went in for a check-up a couple of weeks ago and my doctor set my C-Section date for Sunday the 21st. We went in Sunday morning and everything was very laid back and mellow.
I was very big and I am not exaggerating! I measured 44cm at 38.5 weeks. My doctor told me that it felt like a lot of fluid and most women don't go from having a 7 pound baby to having a 10 pound baby. So, when my C-Section started I was joking with the Dr to tell me if there was a lot of fluid or not.
It turns out there was a lot of fluid, but apparently I am not like "most women" ha ha! Neville was quite the surprise, not only were we surprised that he was a boy (we wanted it that way), but he came in this world weighing a whopping 10 pounds 2 ounces and 22 inches long!
Brandon and Neville were able to stay in the operating room the whole time, which has never been the case before and they were even able to come back to labor and delivery with me until I went upstairs. Usually Brandon and the baby leave right away to the nursery. So, it was definitely more laid back this time!
Ian is so excited to have a little brother! Luckily the hospital changed their vistor restrictions last week, so the kids were able to come up and see the baby.
Audra was a little nervous to see Mommy lying in a hospital bed, but she warmed up after awhile. She has always been my "lil' mama" and she is a BIG helper!
I love this picture with Brandon, Ian, Audra, and Neville.
Now we're home and getting adjusted. So far everything is going well. Things can be a little chaotic, but things were chaotic before. We are very blessed to have such a wonderful family!

The kids had a lot of fun at their Nana and Bampa's Christmas party. We opened our Christmas crackers, opened presents and had a fabulous dinner and dessert! The kids were spoiled by everyone. Here is a picture of them with their crowns on from the Christmas crackers.

We also re-enacted the nativity at the Peterson party, Ian was a shepherd and Audra was an angel. The kids had a lot of fun and it was neat to see! We also had a gift exchange and the kids had a lot of fun doing that. It was a great night!

We had lots of fun at the Earl Christmas Party. All the grandkids dressed up as manger animals and nativity characters. It was really cute to watch them come out as the Christmas Story was read.
