Last weekend Ian was really sick. He never really developed symptons of a head cold, it just went right to his chest. Ian got a fever of 105 and I could get it to go down, but not away. So, Saturday night we headed to instacare to find out what was wrong. He had an ear infection. It has been a very long time since he has had an ear infection (he use to have tubes in his ears). The doctor prescribed a strong antibiotic and lots of popsicles, which Ian loved!
I was doing the dishes, and Audra was getting fussy. I turned around to get the broom so I could sweep the floor, and Audra was asleep! She will just drop anywhere and take a nap!
Well, about a week ago our little Audra started climbing out of her crib. She got to the point where she wouldn't even sleep in it anymore, so I thought it was time to set up her bed. This was harder for me than I thought it was going to be, my baby girl is getting so big! Her bed turned out really cute, and she liked picking out her "Tinkbell" (Tinkerbell) sheets.
Here are some cute lights we found and I thought they would be perfect for her room. They make a great night light!
Finally we have success! Ian is potty trained! At Christmas time Ian's Grandma Stevens told him she would take him to Toys R' Us to pick out a toy if he could go a whole week without accidents, and he did it. He picked out a Thomas the Train Engine scooter and a Diego helmet.
We got another dog! He is a Cavelier King Charles/English Springer Spaniel mix. We named him Tonks so we could keep up with the whole Harry Potter theme (even though that is a girl and the puppy is a boy). Some people wanted us to name him Remus, but we decided we would need a dog that looked like a wolf in order to do that. He is lots of fun and the kids love him. Ian loves him a little too much!
